Short Format Videos (To film indoors - require no travelling)

Section titled “Short Format Videos (To film indoors - require no travelling)”

Many people own old jewelry, nuggets, or gold-colored objects without knowing whether they’re actually valuable or completely fake. That’s why, for this video, using magnets, density tests, and chemical analysis, you’ll investigate whether this gold holds real value… or if it’s just convincing metal. This idea is meant to be filmed with prop jewelry and scraps you can discard later on.

Hook: “The other day, I was cleaning my grandparent’s attic when I found a chest filled with jewelry, so I took it to the studio to see if they’re real pieces or just gold-colored junk”

2. I Bought 3 Sealed Barrels — Could There Be Treasure Inside?

Section titled “2. I Bought 3 Sealed Barrels — Could There Be Treasure Inside?”

For this video, unbox three completely sealed barrels with unknown contents. Barrels like these are often found in storage units, warehouses, and industrial spaces, and once they’re opened, there’s no going back. Using non-invasive tools first, try to determine what’s inside before deciding whether opening them is even worth the risk. The barrels can definitely be faked and staged by you to contain whatever you want in them, or you might actually be able to buy sealed barrels with potential treasures inside, like raw leftover metals.

Hook: “These barrels have been sealed for years, and Today we’re unleashing their secrets to try and find any treasures”

3. I Bought the Most Expensive Claw Machine in the World

Section titled “3. I Bought the Most Expensive Claw Machine in the World”

In honor of your channel’s origins, for this video, acquire a claw machine filled with fossils, gemstones, and other valuable items, making it the rarest and “most valuable” claw machine in the world. Then, attempt to get all the treasures out! Can you empty out the machine?

Hook: “The other day I was browsing online when I came across the world’s most expensive claw machine, and I knew I was gonna be able to empty it out, so I bought it and shipped it to my studio.”

4. I Tested If Survival Gear Actually Works

Section titled “4. I Tested If Survival Gear Actually Works”

For this video, I thought you and your father could conduct controlled indoor tests on survival and safety gear that you either already own or purchased for this video. The goal is to try and see how much destruction it takes to break these items, making it both educational but also extremely eye-catching. (For example, test how much strength you need to break a helmet, or how easy is to rip a tent.)

Hook: “My father and I are planning a really dangerous trip, but first we wanted to make sure our gear was actually going to protect us.”

5. I Bought Temu’s Cheapest Gemstones — Are Any of Them Real?

Section titled “5. I Bought Temu’s Cheapest Gemstones — Are Any of Them Real?”

For this video, investigate whether ultra-cheap gemstones sold online are actually real stones or just colored glass. Do this by breaking them open and testing it’s hardiness and sturdiness with different tools to separate real minerals from manufactured fakes. Who knows? Perhaps you might find a real stone in these cheap bundles!

Hook: “These gemstones cost less than a cup of coffee. So, today, I’m finding out what they’re actually made of.”

6. I Tested What Happens When You Tumble the Wrong Things

Section titled “6. I Tested What Happens When You Tumble the Wrong Things”

For this video, experiment with a rock tumbler by putting in materials that people shouldn’t normally use. From jawbreakers to cheap Temu “crystals”, tumble everything you come across to see the results.

Hook: “Today, I’m going to put things I shouldn’t tumble inside a rock tumbler to see what comes out, including one of my most rare and expensive gemstones”

Short Format Videos (To film outdoors - require no travelling)

Section titled “Short Format Videos (To film outdoors - require no travelling)”

For this video, test whether snow can actually be made safe to drink using a LifeStraw. Snow is often thought of as “fresh water,” but it can carry pollutants, dirt, or bacteria. Using controlled conditions, collect snow from different locations across town (fresh fallen snow, old snow sitting on the road, slow collected from rooftops, etc), let it melt into water and filter it through a LifeStraw to taste it. Is it actually good? (Definelty include “yellow snow” as a joke)

Hook: “Today, I was sitting at home extremely thirsty, but I had no sodas and the roads were closed due to the snow. And that got me thinking… Isn’t snow just water? Couldn’t I just drink it?”

8. Do Metal Magnets Actually Work in Snow?

Section titled “8. Do Metal Magnets Actually Work in Snow?”

For this video, test whether magnet fishing and magnet detectors works in cold, snowy conditions. Bundle up and test if you can manget fish in a frozen pond by breaking the ice, and then take a stroll around a snow-covered park to see if you can detect anything despite the snow covering everything.

Hook: “Today, I’m going to try to use my magnets in the snow, because I want to see if they can help me find my missing watch I dropped before the snowstorm.”

9. I Investigated an Abandoned Theater To Find Treasures

Section titled “9. I Investigated an Abandoned Theater To Find Treasures”

For this video, investigate the story of the Orpheum Theatre in New Bedford, Massachusetts, the second Theater built in the US that was once a massive performance hall that was eventually abandoned. Using historical records, old photographs, and modern footage, narrate the Theater’s story as you walk thorugh the abandoned place, trying to spot any treasures left behidn by the actors. This Theater is a very popular abandoned building expedition, so you’ll definetly get in easily and I have no doubt there’ll be treasures sitting behind.

Hook: “Today, I’m diving to find a treasure not made by nature, but abandoned by humans. This is the second oldest Theater in the United States, and today I’m going in to find what the actors left behind.”
