Inspirational Report #32
1. I Hid 10 AirTags Across Miami
Section titled “1. I Hid 10 AirTags Across Miami”For this short, hide 10 Airtags on different modes of transportation across Miami. The goal? Test which one is the fastest to get to Chase Stadium in time for the next Inter Miami match (alternatively, depending on the time you post this short, you can frame this idea around the World Cup to figure out the fastest way to get to the Hard Rock Stadium). Miami has a big public transport system, as well as crazy traffic and unique ways to travel, like boat taxis and trolleys, making this idea perfect to test in this city.
Hook: “Today, my friends and I traveled to Miami to watch Messi play, but we weren’t sure how to get to the stadium the fastest way possible…“
2. I Went Magnet Fishing in America’s Venice
Section titled “2. I Went Magnet Fishing in America’s Venice”Fort Lauderdale is often called the “Venice of America” because of its massive canal system. For this video, explore different canal to find treasures underwater, starting in low-traffic residential waterways and building up to busy boating zones. Before each throw, explain why that specific canal could realistically hide valuable items (boat tools, anchors, fishing gear, lost watches).
Hook: “Today, I’m going to try to fish out any cool treasures in America’s Venice to bring back to my parents as a souvenir, because gift shops are super expensive.”
3. I Created a Real-Life Miami Vice Scavenger Hunt
Section titled “3. I Created a Real-Life Miami Vice Scavenger Hunt”Inspired by the neon, 80s aesthetic of Miami Vice, for this short follow a scavenger hunt across Miami using clues tied to iconic city locations. Each clue leads to the next landmark, escalating in difficulty. The final clue leads to a hidden treasure chest containing a mystery reward. For this video, visit iconic landmarks such as Ocean Drive, Little Havana and Downtown Miami. In total, include five clues that take you to five unique spots across Miami.
Hook: “Today, I woke up early to watch the sunset at the beach when I came across a strange note that said…”
4. I Scuba Dived in Miami’s Most Expensive Waterfronts
Section titled “4. I Scuba Dived in Miami’s Most Expensive Waterfronts”For this video, inspired by this short, explore luxury waterfront canals and islands in Miami to test a common belief: that wealthier areas hide better, more valuable lost items underwater. Instead of open sea diving, focus on calm canals near high-end homes and marinas, comparing what you find in these locations versus more normal, public waterways. Before each dive, explain why this specific spot could realistically hide lost objects (boats coming and going, private docks, frequent maintenance work). The goal is to discover whether “rich areas” actually lead to better underwater finds… or if that’s just a myth.
Hook: “Today, my friends and I are going to scuba dive in Miami to try and find any treasures. But we won’t do this on open sea. Instead, we’re going to head to islands and canals where the rich and famous live.”
5. I Found a Soccer Shirt… Then I Found the Owner
Section titled “5. I Found a Soccer Shirt… Then I Found the Owner”For this video, find a lost Inter Miami soccer jersey on the beach and do all in your power to find it’s owner. Build suspense by questioning whether it could somehow be connected to Lionel Messi himself. Follow clues (size, signatures, location) and attempt to return it.
Hook: “Today, I was tanning on the beach when I found a soccer shirt… but when I flipped it over, I realized this wasn’t just any shirt.”
6. I Went Magnet Hunting After the Clubs Closed in Miami
Section titled “6. I Went Magnet Hunting After the Clubs Closed in Miami”This idea follows a similar pattern to idea number 3 of the last report, as it focuses on Miami’s night life and party scene. For this short, grab your equipment and film early in the morning after Miami nightlife winds down. Start at smaller venues and escalate toward larger, busier nightlife zones as you find any belongings people forgot.
Hook: “Today, I’m going to magnet hunt in every Miami night club, because my friend lost his bracelet last night and we want to see if we can find it.”
7. I Tried to Sneak Onto Miami’s Private Islands
Section titled “7. I Tried to Sneak Onto Miami’s Private Islands”For this short, attempt to access or approach Miami’s most exclusive islands, such as Star Island and Fisher Island, where many celebs live and own mansions. Instead of sneaking in, the challenge is to test every legitimate option available to a normal person: public ferries, docks, walkways, asking guards, requesting access, and researching public entry points. Each attempt builds on the last, escalating from the easiest options to the most restricted ones. The goal is to discover whether these islands are truly off-limits, or if their exclusivity is mostly an illusion.
Hook: “Today, I tried to sneak onto Miami’s most private islands where celebrities live, because I promised my mom I would return to New York with a signed picture for her.”
8. I Built My Own Fortress Because Rent in Miami Is Too Expensive
Section titled “8. I Built My Own Fortress Because Rent in Miami Is Too Expensive”With Miami rent prices skyrocketing, head to Virginia Key and build your own mini “fortress” using only natural materials. The challenge is to create a functional shelter within a short time limit and budget. Can you actually live and survive outdoors in Miami?
Hook: “My friends and I traveled down to Miami to escape the cold, but we didn’t bring enough money to book a hotel room. So…”
9. I Dove Into 100 Dumpsters on Lincoln Road
Section titled “9. I Dove Into 100 Dumpsters on Lincoln Road”For this short, attempt to explore 100 dumpsters behind luxury shops and restaurants on Lincoln Road. What kinds of treasures will you find here? Is it different than dumpster diving in New York?
Hook: “Today, I’m diving into 100 dumpsters in one of Miami’s busiest shopping streets to try and get a luxury gift for my grandma.”
