1. I Found a $1,000 Watch in a Florida “Blue Hole”

Florida is famous for its limestone sinkholes, often called “Blue Holes.” For this short, head to a deep, clear water hole in the Miami area. Using your underwater metal detector, dive to the bottom to see what tourists have dropped over the decades. The goal is to “discover” a high-end watch (prop) buried in the silt.

Hook: “Today, I’m going to dive into a blue hole to try and find any treasures dropped by tourists…“

There is a famous wildlife park in Miami called Monkey Jungle where the humans are in cages and monkeys run free. For this video, challenge yourself to sleep inside one of these cages, can you survive a night surrounded by monkeys? What will you hear or see once the lights go out?

Hook: “Today, I’ll throw a sleepover at the Monkey Jungle in Miami!“

3. I Built a $100 “Airboat” to Cross the Swamp

Real Everglades airboats cost thousands. So, for this short, use a budget on $100 to create your own airboat. The goal is to see if you can “propel” a small raft across a calm canal using wind power.

Hook: “Today, I was exporing the Florida Everglades when I came across an airboat. But since they’re super expensive, I decided to make one for myself…“

4. I Found an Abandoned “Narco” Tunnel

Miami’s history is filled with smuggler stories. So, for this video, find an old drainage pipe or a limestone cave, and use a flashlight to “investigate” the tunnel. Place different props along the tunnel as you investigate the place.

5. I Hunted 100 “Shark Teeth” in Miami

For this video, dig around Miami to try and find as many shark teeth as possible. Since Miami was underwater millions of years ago, this means the shark teeth won’t be just at the beaches: explore playgrounds, construction sites, backyards and lawns, and other ususual places. Will you find any shark teeth?

Hook: “Today, I’ll be hunting 100 shark teeth all across Miami before I have to head back home…“

6. I Followed an AirTag to Find Miami’s Trash

For this video, attach an AirTag to a piece of driftwood and drop it in the middle of the ocean. Then, track its movement along the coast over 24 hours and head to the location. The goal is to find where the ocean current “deposits” the trash of Miami.

Hook: “Today, I was eating some snacks at the beach when the wind blew the wrapper away into the ocean. So, to find where it’s going, I used an airtag…“

7. I Went Magnet Fishing on a Millionaire’s Golf Course Pond

Many luxury Miami mansions are built around private golf courses. For this short, use your magnets to fish in a water hazard near a high-end course. Instead of just golf balls, look for “discarded” items like a golf cart key, a “stolen” trophy, or even a rusted club. What will you find?

Hook: “Today, I’m going to sneak into Miami’s most expensive golf course to try and find any treasure sitting in the ponds.”

There are many abandoned sailboats floating in Biscayne Bay, so for this video, explore the area until you come across one. The mission is to investigate the sunken boat to see if there is any “treasure” or evidence of who used to live there before it became a ghost ship.

Hook: “Today, I’ll be exploring Miami’s ghost ships to try and find why they were abandoned in the first place…“

9. I Investigated the “Alien” Ruins of Coral Castle

Located just south of Miami, Coral Castle is a mystery construction where one man moved 1,100 tons of coral rock alone. For this video, use a metal detector and other gadgets/tools to explore around the perimeter of the park. The goal is to investigate the ground for any lost tools or clues that could explain how the castle was built.

Hook: “This castle was built by one man using ‘anti-gravity’ secrets, so today I’m using a high-tech metal detector to see if he’s lying or not…”
